Olga Mamaeva

Olga joined RUSA as a coordinator in Spring 2023, bringing her lived experience as a lesbian immigrant woman, mother of an LGBTQ+ young person, and professional skills as a production coordinator for large events such as New Year's Eve at Times Square, 24 Hours of Reality with Al Gore, the Women's Leadership Forum, and the New York Science Festival.

Olga participates and volunteers in Pride Marches, Dyke Marches, NYC Professional LGBT+ and Queer Women's Events, The Bush Film Festivals, Dyke Beer Events, Chinatown Tea Parties, Lesbians Reading Group, and NYC Professional Women's Dances. Her work in recruiting and working with volunteers and empathy and heart she puts in working with new community members benefits RUSA tremendously, and she loves to organize people and systems.
